Dave - I liked it, but the only contraction I found was "she's". So what the f**k is wrong with that?

There might be enough room for two Dave's here... maybe. Or the internal war of the Dave's is about to ensue.

Anyways... there's two main kinds of contractions I'm familiar with, poetic contractions (aka elision) and normal contractions. Words like " 'tis" and " 'twas" for 'it is' and 'it was' are called poetic contractions and words like "isn't" and "aren't" are modern english contractions for regular speech and writing. The more anal of the day's poetry critics consider it lazy and amateurish to use regular contraction's in poetry. A while back I had a "discussion" with a prolific reviewer here who confuses his posting and reviewing on sites like these for professional writing and profesional critique and was constently trying to shame other writers veiled in the form of review for stupid things like using contractions in their poetry. Some people let sites like these and the vanity publishing industry inflate their ego to absurdly unrealistic levels and that usually shines through via criticisms like that in their reviews. People like that annoy me more than any type here, so I like to tell them to f**k off whenever I can in any form that I can. Unfortunatly, that person no longer has the balls to review me anymore so I can't do it directly these days.

As far as grammar and punctuation go hmmmmmmm.
I never worry about it. I write what I feel, let the reader figure it out, if they need to.

Everyone worries about grammar and punctuation on some level or another. Things wouldn't make sense otherwise. But people who are straight up Nazi's about it on informal internet writing sites because it makes them feel intellectually superior are and always will be complete and total d-bags.
