you have no choice but to make a choice even the very decision to not make a decision is still today and always will be your very decision's so make them wisely or you may die poorly
Even held at gunpoint we have a choice. However I think, there are several aspects of life we have no say in, such as our birth and death. We also have no say in thoughts. We may manipulate them, but we cannot stop them altogether. We cannot choose not to think, because despite us trying to not think, by not thinking, we are indeed thinking about not thinking so hard that we are not thinking of anything else but. Which in itself is a thought.
Tis one of the many paradoxes of life.
Great food for thought, but today I'm finding myself struggling to contain consciousness. How are you this morning?

I'm also struggling without that whole consciousness thing this morning.... and I ran out of milks for my coffees. But otherwise it's been swell, thanks for asking. How's the east coast these days?

It's quite muggy here, busy as usual, especially for us housekeepers. Work never ends, but I cannot complain. Mainly because I can't find the energy or time to do so :)
All's well that ends well I suppose.

I think it's always a little better to be busy than it is to be bored so, at least there's that.

Either doing nothing at all or doing too much to kill the boredom created by doing nothing at all.

You act like leaving a small comment that takes maybe 5 minutes is some kind of grand act of kindness and that not getting "thanked" properly is some kind of serious transgression. I'd rather you say nothing than act like an intellectual snob. And here's a tip --- you're not as intelligent as you think you are. Now, feel free to not respond to this or review me again. You're reviews aren't that insightful to begin with.
The last two lines are too true! No matter it's big or small, we have to make a choice and deal with the consequences. Good write

We'd all go insane if we could choose to try and calculate the probability of things out to extremely fine detail over extremely long time scales. I think that's one of the reason's we all have a subconcious. Our brains make extremely complex calculations every time we judge distance or space or time or any of our hard perceptions that input and translate sensory data. You don't know it but... your subconcious knows calculus, trig, geometry, topography, probability, symmetry, algebra, physics, even a little chemistry and more... all at, or way above a pHD level. How do you think we all commonly make such beautiful pictures manifest in our brain pans? Science... all of the science.

The subconscious is a powerful part of the mind. It could help us or scare us to death.
