if you know why you are alive

in the beginning
from the dark came the light
from the small came the large

from the push came the pull

from all of this came all of that

into all our reason and belief

in between the ignorance

and the knowledge

of existence

in between the love

and the hate

of another

between a person and a thing

between all that faith

and all that reason

from the dead

into the living

came this world 

now full of symbols

from the real

into the artificial

which begs a question
that when answered

is the end
