oh gosh it takes h=just one bad moment to shift the energies - I am good at that - but them my brain doesn't work in gaming up the next move - I speak and everyone knows exactly how I am feeling - Bam! Its out there, irretrievable and all :D
It is an interesting observation, a downward spiral of out of control emotions for no valid (in retrospect) reason at all. I may not have hit the mark on this one - but geez, this is spot on to where my head space is right about now!

If one is carrying around a lot of inner pain, it can indeed take only one bad day, or sometimes one bad moment, to cause a flood of negative memories to well up from the deeper layers of consciousness. The most extreme cases of this phenomenon occur in people with PTSD, who can be triggered back into the traumatic event by apparently mundane happenings. The above work seems to indicate a tendency toward depression, which itself can be a life threatening condition. Usually medication and therapy can bring relief, but the individual always has to be aware of stressors.

I went to NIU in Dekalb, Illinois (majored in sociology for the BS with a minor in chemistry, social psychology for my MA ). Or if you are just another ancient social worker from the times when you didn't have to have a degree.... please f**k off with your cliched google searchable bullshit. People like you are the problem with social science in general... hack BS without any sense of academic rigor.

Did you forget that or, did you never internalize that incredible important concept?
"finding yourself trapped
purely in madness
finding only absurdity
as your emergency exit
away from expectations
away from all the hurt inside"
really loved your whole piece, but these are definitely my favorite lines. the only way to get out of the madness, in a sense, is to create more.

If you haven't already I think you would find great insight in the writings of a fellow named Carl Jung. Check out a book called "psychological types" by him, it's not his only or even best work but I think it's a perfect place to start.
"but you can't delay tomorrow
anymore than you can save today"
On bad days I usually just say to myself, "tomorrow is another day" but when the mind and spirit are being constantly tortured there is little consolation in that thought. Where does one find relief, a reprieve from the painful, hurtful memories that haunt? Perhaps putting them into writing helps to channel the emotion and even for a day, even moments, there one can find peace. Such a moving, poignant write this is.

Too many drinks were consumed last night and when that happens I tend to really fail in the editing process. There's a few good lines that made it through but in my head it was something better. Thanks for enjoying the good parts, I'll try and make the rest a little better over the next few days
