Life is a Fetish

Life is a Fetish

A Poem by Davidgeo

my living

is like walking up an escalator

delaying the inevitable

for a living

everyday

i am here

everyday

a little less alive

everyday

the escalator

she climbs a little bit f*****g faster...

and i play games just to prove that

i'm still ahead of it

i play games

to pretend to be young

to pretend

how we are all feasting now

just to be fed upon

later. . .

will never be painful

as life feeds off life

in a strange cycle

of restless competition

recycling

incest

cannibalism

pintrest

in the grand scheme,

my dear

. . . the f**k's the difference?

we are all of us

just one big giant bizarre taboo pornography

every one of us

        it ends poorly for everybody

so don't be a p***y

shame is just a word... but,

  this just got weird

For some reason of which I can’t quite pinpoint- I really enjoyed the honesty and creativity in this “climbing” poem

An often tantalized thought, well worded and a great read. I enjoyed your word play and metaphors it made a very attentive read. Thanks for sharing
