Have spent the last two weeks up and down to the hospital visiting my old mum who has fractured her hip and at the same time is suffering with a water infection that has sent her nuts, hopefully sanity will return once this treated. Being amongst wards full of 80+ year olds all approaching the end of their lives makes you realise how brief our stay on this planet is. Tis quite sad...
Good morning David, hope you are well.

I'm sorry to here about your mother, aging is cruel process. I wish we could all stay young where time doesn't seem to pass so quickly and regrettably. At least we all get to share the same ending eventually even if it is almost always untimely.
Good morning to you as well, aside from your mom's broken hip I trust you are well.

I have to read this poem to my loved ones. I on the other hand am known for thinking a little bit too much about my past and future that I sometimes just forget to live within the moment.
It is amazing how some of the greatest memories come as a result of death. When we're alive, it is hard to remember things, hopefully because we're too busy learning new things. It is unfortunate that sometimes the lessons we need to remember aren't the ones that we actually remember.

I completely agree with you. I've said the very same thing. It's all about survival.
The format is brilliant for this poem. The short lines roll on infinitum in one long sentence ... but in a most delightful way, and so apt. ending in the repetition of 'again'. Very cleverly done.
love your poetry, dude, fancy reviewing some of mine ?

The crazy people would get mad and assume you're an evil person. It's weird, but, there's a couple users here that hate stalk me. I used to review a lot more until I realized it brings the wrong kind of attention.
All too well I relate to this strange feeling.... capturing a moment of timelessness, and being as present as possible, devouring the infinite, and being crushed by the smallness of your life and the immensity of everything that ever existed and will exist.
