This one is interesting in that the main philosophical statement is that we know what we want by what we hope and know what we don't want by what we fear. Then there is a more vague category dedicated to all the "mundane" things of our lives. I would suggest that the mundane things can teach us about ourselves, too. For instance, the consumer goods we use can tell us how much we care about the environment. Choosing a safety razor over a plastic one may seem like a small thing, but when you consider the amount of plastic that is thrown away and how long it takes to biodegrade, it's easy to see how each of us can be a part of large problems.
The key, I believe is to strive for the things one hopes for. We all have fears, of something, but they can't be allowed to overcome our drive for the best we can be. If we were to give up then surely our lives are meaningless and we all want some meaning to our lives.
We'd all be vicious animals without the glitter. Thanks for stopping by my friend.

(but the real reason... there's a couple "writers" here who I've pissed off to the point of them being poisonous to anyone I publicly appreciate and that's not fair to you or anyone else.)

But it's become a fact. If your honest here to the wrong person you will become a scapegoat of one kind or another. I have clarify of course... I have been scapegoated for being a legitimate a*****e; unfortunately I deserve my reputation at the moment. But I'm trying to break that. Being bluntly honest is the only way I know how.

Hopes and fears, wants and needs and the inbetween. That's life for you. Whittled down to the bone. It sounds so simple doesn't it expressed like that? In reality we all know life to be very complex. I like this short poem.

"attention to detail" and "teamwork's the key". In thought it's all pretty simple, in practice... it's all so much more complex. Sometimes what we fear is what we need, sometimes what we want is what will kill us. And in between everything is life far more complicated than we know until it happens.

Great job 👍. How very philosophical. But sometimes we fear what we want though.
