i feed my cat raw meat

succinctly
kill me
gently
for the sins
of my father
damned me proper

with an ability to speak
without an ability to listen

so anyway,

everyday we are proposed
with different decisions

that vault us

far and wide

but they do confuse me

near and narrow

because you don't know your neighbors

because we barely know ourselves

enough to kill anything

for any reason

calculated

My cat is so stupid i doubt he would know what to do with it if i flung a chicken leg on the ground perhaps he has become more like "the owners" and prefers pre-packaged meat with bleached and refined ingredients in handy pouches slathered in rendered meat products mixed in with a healthy dose of fillers with a periodic food item intermixed to lend authenticity... anyhow that's how i like it why should he be any different

When anything gets hungry enough while left to their own situation, devices and environment you might be suprised at what they'd settle for. There was a fellow stranded at sea for over a month several years ago, eventually he came across a dying fish and for some reason the first thing he did after catching it was to go straight for the liver... he ate it raw and said it was the best thing he ever tasted at that time in his life. Pre packaged, raw, vegan, caveman, keto, whatever and ever etc., ... you can be healthy if you eat what you need with respect to your situation. Trendy diets are for people who can't seem to understand that and/or are too lazy/undisciplined to workout regularly and eat a reasonably balanced diet.
