so much f*****g fake outrage these days so many pandering out takes these days
from a fashion, inflated into an entire culture, created all for a stage 'woke' for attention (f**k change)
it's a play called 'outrage' "imma be trendin' on twitter!" in character on a social justice rampage with the only intension to be virtuously famous
and new age enlightened
virtue signal's for view's like's, subscription's and share's . . . that's the game (f**k change) "imma be trendin' on twitter!"
just denounce the 'white man' the only group you can openly mock the only group you can broadly paint as an "enemy" of free people. . . as long as they're white
male and middle class it couldn't possibly be discrimination
I really like this write...don't agree with it, but that's okay. It was well written, so the content is unimportant. I'll give it a good rating.
Let me tell you my feelings. I think that the driver could have been nicer. If it were me, I would have put the doll out of sight immediately, as soon as I knew the passenger had a problem with it.After she was out of the car it would have gone right back where it belonged. There would have been no heated exchange; problem averted.I don't do 'twitter'or 'facebook', so I don't know much about that.
I understand the passenger being offended. A lot of stuff I see irritates me, too, some of it actually infuriates me! No sense in quarreling about the thoughts and opinions of someone you don't care about and will most likely never encounter again, right?
I can understand the feeling against white people saying they are discriminated against also. I am a white person, but feel no 'pride' about this. After all, it's not like being born the color I happen to be is an accomplishment of mine.I don't care about getting 'hits' or 'points', or whatever else might be up for grabs.
I care about voicing my feelings, and learning what other people think, whether it's the same as me, or not.
Anyhow, white people (like me, and I'm assuming, like you) have a lot of past reputation problems to overcome, haven't we? I mean, white folks have behaved very badly, in my opinion, for centuries!
Every place new that they go, they declare "I discovered this place!" when, in fact, it was already populated by other people. What to do? Subjugate the native population! Conquer, vanquish, defeat, crush, quash, enslave, subdue, and suppress them. If you can't do that, and they're in your way, or-- Heaven forfend--in your face about their rights--simply kill them! Problem solved.
What a horrible way to behave.
Of course, my Republican husband says that white people are "conquerers", so I should be proud of these "accomplishments."
Not on your life, man. I feel only shame for the actions of those ancestors of mine.

The problem she had was not legitimate. It was completely manufactured outrage... she had no idea.. read moreThe problem she had was not legitimate. It was completely manufactured outrage... she had no idea what she was even talking about (she thought Hawaii was a continent... did you miss that part?). I don't think someone should be "crybullied" into changing innocuous behaviors or expressions simply to appease a temper tantrum. We are adults, we should treat each other like adults... just because someone cries nd virtue signals in an attempt to get their way or appear more "socially enlightened" does not mean the other person has to cater to that. It's childish, pathetic and unrealistic to try and censor expression in the free world like that - we all have our right to expression, whether you agree with it or not -- we all still have the right to express ourselves as long as we're not yelling "fire" in a public place or physically threatening someone you can say whatever you want.... that's what free speech means. And I've lived in Hawaii before, the hula bobble head trinket is not offensive to native islanders... they love selling them to tourists. As far as white people being discriminated against, yes, it's a real thing... what do you think affirmative action is? What about sub-prime loans that I can't get despite having identical credit scores and income but because I'm not African American I am not eligible? What about college admissions? I could score the same on the SAT's as an African American but still not get admitted... Those are just three institutional examples. In a more informal sense...If I were to say "all black people are (insert derogatory term)" I'd be publicly shamed into hiding but if I were to say the same thing about a white person nothing would happen... I'd probably get applause from all the social justice warriors.
Also, the whole "we had horribly racist ancestors, therefore we should be held accountable for their actions" line is not something I'm buying into... holding a person accountable for someone else's actions goes against the fundamental spirit of freedom. It has nothing to do with "pride" or "conquerors" and everything to do with personal accountablity. If you act like a racist d********g then you should be treated like a racist d********g... if you act like a civil, decent and responsible human being you should be treated that way. By your logic white people should be enslaved and exploited... and then the next generation gets to do the same to another race... and round and round that circle goes - nothing gets accomplished that way, in fact I would argue that logic like that keeps the entire human race from making progress toward a more inclusive and enlightened society.
