and everyone can be fanatical 

ridiculous and confounding 

in any moment

what we do is what defines us

in that moment

and what you say can be anything
something irrelevant

or very important 

maybe just a joke

or something banal  

like a glass of water

in a quiet place

Addiction ‘is’ a temple,

And whether one practices through simple prayer, morning mass or blind zealotry, it is the temple they have in common.

What we do ‘does’ define us.

Be it as conformity to a cliche, with the profundity of a truly original thought, or in the abstract paradox of a well devised joke.

This one caught my attention - well worth the read.

In a perfect world I think we'd all think about that right before we did anything incredibly stupid. But then we wouldn't have anything incredibly stupid to use as an example... also, a large section of popular comedy would cease to exist. I'm kinda glad it's not a perfect world.
