Never Look

if you're looking

'the one' is everywhere

flawed and no where

as the search is endless

and if you're aren't
'the one' is meaningless

trite and irrelevant

and the loneliness is crippling 

  for all of us for everyone

but when you find it

you will be disappointed

in one way or another 

after too long

nothing can live up to it

to whatever "it" was

       , that "thing" you were searching for

but if "it" finds you

in an open sea 

just for you

from the open sea

of subjective madness

if it produces that thing

that others kill and/or die for

      that's what's beautiful

hold onto it

you won't find it again
