Toothless, Dead and Violent

Toothless, Dead and Violent

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

it takes work to be a monster, it takes far more to not be.

"
Without teeth
I will chew the truth openly
And they will fear me
    Like an old leg bone
I will remind them
    Of the harmony that heaven
Has with the devil
And that they were right to be afraid
Of what dwells within them
    After I am dead
I will remind them again
     And again
Of what dwells within them
Of what we all have inside
Even you
Even me
Even in every, single, other
     There is a god
And there is a devil
      So do act accordingly
And do so truthfully
(belief's got nothin' to do with it)

You cannot be paid for this
      No grace can compensate you
This is worth far too much now
      And it never wont be
It never wont be
       Not for nobody
Not for anything
      For the divine
She does not compromise

The devil fell from heaven. It was his home. He knows where to hit. He knows the weak links. This is warfare. The best way to defeat someone is to become an insider with them, hit where it hurts the most. We all have it in us. We all fear this.

Without temptation there is no heaven to achieve. Absolutely. 100% so right. I agree.
