a clever cat with down syndrome a fancy fox who can't match his sox a dapper dan from the nineteen nineties a foolish boy with no good excuses a f*****g moron with one fancy memory i can see the way i can see it now i won't default
This reminds me of how I’d imagined Jay Gatsby felt in The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald when Gatsby was told that he’d never be able to support the love of his life because she lived too extravagantly for him to keep up with, and it is also one of my favorite books so thank you for the reminder. Great display of emotions at the end and way to keep it minimal, and good job painting a picture with your descriptiveness in the first ten lines. I definitely enjoyed this read, and that’s saying a lot coming from someone, a poet as well, who is usually very picky about the type of writing she reads. Thank you.

A clever cat, a fancy fox, a dapper dan, a foolish boy,a focking moron. I am wondering whether these are all the same person or five different personalities Is that who the rich little poor boy is? The one who couldn't see and who now does, with promises not to fail his obligations? A lost relationship which had nothing to do with money and everything to do with attitude. Sounds like he had the wrong attitude in bucket loads. But there is reaching out in your words, much reaching out, and a feeling of need, I think. There you go. I enjoyed the video as well. My take on your poetry, for what it's worth. Not sure I have come close to what you were intending.
