from a moment of ignorance
and an instance of difference
into a lifetime of vociferance
from that moment of ignorance

internalized by the masses

comes a lifetime of indifference

a shallow ideology of untruths 

and of trickery

uniformly adorned
by the bloody uninformed
warmly unlearned
so goes morality and concern

from one lazy popularity

and one moment of ignorance
into a new lifetime of indifference

from a fashionable inference
in that moment of ignorance

comes the false, the pestiferous

and this exponential stupidity 
breeding plague's of human locusts
bigoted with confidence

reinforced by a populace 

of ignorant's

from one instance of difference

a moment's worth of frustrations

into a lifetime of hatreds

into an ideology of indifference 

shallow, popular and ignorant

ideologically lazy and falsely indignant 

an entire population regresses

These are strange times in America. If I didn't think Donnie had a mental illness (early stages of dementia, pathological liar) while being a closet racist and misogynist I would be pretty happy about having a counter culture president. Sadly, I don't think even a single one of his intentions is genuine or in the interest of the population as a whole. As a troll myself I find it easy to identify when someone is just saying s**t for affect... that dude never had/has any intention of governing, he's just a thin skin narcissist reacting to attention in the spirit of getting more attention. I'm also pretty sure he was far more shocked than almost anyone else to win that election.

I was under the impression that the referendum that occurred in 2016 which forced Cameron's resignation and the UK had already officially invoked article 50 of EU treaty that separates a member from the EU... and that the gap of time between then and March 30th 2019 was for financial and logistical purposes, but the decision to exit the EU had already been made. Is that not what's going on?

As a population, we get who we vote for. We live in strange times and one hell of a lot of people voted for him. I don't like anything he stands for. I cringe at his lack of diplomacy and his tweets. You are lumbered with him now. Strong words from you, but are half the population ignorant? I think not. They must have had their reasons.

He actually lost the popular vote 62 million to 65 million. In American politics the popular vote is not what gets you elected, that has to do with the electoral college. And to say "half the population" is misleading, as not everyone can or does vote. With that election a lot of people who normally would have just didn't vote at all because both candidates were so objectively awful. The real reason why a lot of people voted for him or chose to abstain altogether from voting was probably all of the old school political style corruption surrounding Hillary Clinton's past and present that came out during her campaign (largely due to state sponsored Russian hackers spamming social media on an unprecedented scale... that's why Trump is being investigated - to see if he collaborated with a foreign country to sway the election in his favor in exchange for access to the white house). The final nail in her coffin came when it became public that the Democratic National Convention was rigged to ensure Hillary Clinton would get the nomination over Bernie Sanders. A lot of people decided the political outsider was a better option than the establishment candidate after that. I would say the amount of legitimate supporters Trump has/had is in the neighborhood of 20-25% of the voting population. His job approval ratings and crowd sizes bears that out pretty nicely. If the election were held today he would get crushed by almost anybody.
