I once heard the phrase: ''if death has no cost,life has no worth'' , and for some reason, reading your poem i thought about it. Love the Pumpkings, especially their ''1979'' song. I was listening to some Shakuhachi (The Japanese Flute music) and in combination with it, it had a weird effect...haha

Billy Corgan's about 15-ish years older than me but he grew in a town next to mine called Elk Grove (suburban Chicago). Did you know that since he semi retired from making music he founded a pro wrestling league called Resistance Pro Wrestling and then recently bought into another small league? It's so weird how that turned out be what he's passionate about now... small time pro wrestling drawing crowds of less than 1,000 people... he's a strange fellow that Billy Corgan.

The sense of humor ebss and flows but it's still largely one giant hug box full of fake compliments and easily hurt feelings about nothing. You haven't missed very much.

Bradley Nowell died way too soon; he was my favorite example of that southern California sound... and he incorporated so many other genres, from hip-hop to reggae to rock to funk, there's a little bit of so much in the music he made before he died.
The jack asses do kind of bother me, maybe not their opinions toward me but their disposition and disingenuousness in general pisses me off a little bit. But for the most part, it all amuses me greatly to f**k with people of that disposition so it all evens out in the end. Every once in a while I learn something about person to person interaction from the self-unaware clowns who take this s**t too seriously. A little self refinement is always a good thing, but it always costs something.
