lovey dovey the gimmick
obfuscating and ardent

propagation the purpose
of our gardens of eden

and the vice of the gimmick
is normalized mental illness

diamonds and pearls

jealousy and hatred

marriage - divorce

attraction - repulsion 

carnal and base

anger and love
hunting and f*****g
protecting and killing

carnal and base

and all from the same

feeding a hunger

for purpose

carnal and base

our hallmarks of survival
they are not what they seem

not today

          (it's all roses)

manufactured and clean

     like a dream -

                  ( - like commercial)

Anger is a vice which unfortunately all of us entertain along with our other temptations .Calling it a 'normalized mental illness' shows the artificial outlook we have , just like you said "commercial like".Good write!!

Love is the normalized commercial... anger is more natural and beneficial in terms of evolution (defend and invade with vigor to prosper). We didn't become the dominant species on this planet because we loved... what brought us here was objectively ugly. But I think that mental illness called love is what will keep us here without destroying the other. (until we run out of resources anyway... 85 million people get added to this planet every year. That is objectively unsustainable... the ugly part is inevitably coming back eventually.)
