You asked me to read, and I did. A poem for your anti friends. Have you ever read 'How to win friends and influence people?' Well you certainly don't gain anything by insulting them. And you have changed your name again, to one that sticks out like a sore thumb. A label. I don't like labels much. So there you go, I read you and I've told you what I think for what it's worth.

I'm really not here to win friends or influence anyone - this is just a hobby. That's quite clear I think, perhaps not to you as we don't really interact.

Over the years I've found a few people who hide really, really s****y personality traits behind completely fake front stage presentations. And none of what I said is new to those who have been here for many years.

Also, my name change has to do with both my ancestery and an inside joke I share with a few people here. A label? Well isn't every name a label. Only those who chose to stay ignorant to their meaning get offended... and I would care about that if I knew you, but, I don't and am not about to start dictating certain things based on the assumptions strangers make about my choice of online profile name.


It also seems that you're thinking I specifically wanted you and you alone to read this... that is not the case.... I send read requests to everyone on my friends list. If you have a problem with that simply delete me from your friends list... no hard feelings.

Oops pressed too early there. The label thing is between you and your mates simple, but because I don't know you and your inside jokes, I don't always know who I'm dealing with. I didn't think for one minute you had just directed this to me for a response. Why should I think that? There aren't any hard feelings and the thing about labels was an observation not a criticism. Take me or leave me, I won't be losing any sleep over it.

And that's completely fine that you felt that way... but don't back peddle and pretend you were just 'making an observation' when you were clearly making a value judgement ("I don't like labels"), that's not a respectable personality trait. Own what you say.

I don't want to come across as being rude and I don't particularly like people being labelled. I dislike it when my grandson talks about his friends who are gay, bi, black, muslim, that's what I mean by labels. Why define them by anything else other than the fact that they are a friend. So there you go. I am owning what I say, but I have no argument with you.

I'm jewish and my parents are from Canada. It's not offensive to say that or identify myself that way. Some people are proud of their "labels"... auto-disliking that without any context is intellectually lazy in my opinion.
