Naturally Artificial

Naturally Artificial

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

.

"
i am on a something
pirouetting in a nothing
around a great ball of fire

just a small piece of nature

in between transcendent disaster's

breathing my share
while i can
making love in the rain
chewing on animals
worrying about volcanos
recycling plastics and doing taxes
playing video games
jerking off and getting wasted
feeling ecstatic
feeling ashamed
and everything in between

i will call it experience
and i will fill the time
how i will fill the time

that is. . .
anyway that one can

naturally attained
induced artificially

they are one in the same

within a nature

on a something
pirouetting in a nothing
around a great ball of fire

in between transcendent disaster's

This one is really good. A very transparent view of the human condition in this day of age. Nicely done.

Thanks. It's one of my most very favoritist ones, I'm glad you liked it.
Woah. You've made this almost a teasing balance between philosophical and, like you said, artificial. I cannot find the words to express how much I love this piece.

Thanks holmes. I find nature in balance sometimes.
I like the style of your writing.
It's got a little bite to it, not too much , to the point of sounding forced as so many others.
Very nice read!
Thank you !

Thank yous. It's hard not to sound forced while biting things.
