Mind and Body Strong Grasshopper

my mind is very sore

from exercising

on the regular
all of the bad memories
that forged me

into me. . .

like the lactic acids
that flood my tissues
after an hour or so
of some very vigorous jujitsu

I like the Arnold quote. The rest of it feels more like an "I work out and am really smart so have sex with me!" elaborate paraphrasing. lol But I think the Arnold quote kind implies you were at least a little aware of it but then again.... lol

Or, how about... making mental and emotional gains can make you mentally sore like vigorous exercise makes you physically sore... I think I elaborately paraphrased that in a clear way. Your interpretation makes pretty much no sense, like you were reading a completely different poem.

Some unfortunate memories are born from single moments of trauma... others can be from long term inescapable s****y situations. The distribution between them is not equal and generally depends upon the individual circumstance.

It's inside everyone I think, situations often dictate the degree of difficulty in extracting it though. Some are setup for success others for failure and everyone else in between is just kinda, there, to do as they please.
