Terrorist Morality

Terrorist Morality

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

.

"

Ineffectual, frustrated, living impetuously

Mentally imprisoned, very bankrupt intellectually

Conspicuously outraged and engaged only fashionably

Clichéd conceptually and always pandering for popularity

Protesting disingenuously, poisoning minds perpetually

Obliviously hypocritical, destined for anomie

And the junk bin of history

Wow... well, first, that was a lot of the letter "y" in there, and that made this kind of complex to read as it was partnered with a battering ram of bigger words. But I like the way you worded it none the less. While I agree with the opinion I'm also not sure about the second stanza. To me, they aren't bankrupt intellectually. I think that they know full well what they're doing before they set out so that, for me, makes it scarier. The last stanza, when you wrote "And the junk bin of history" really stood out to me because regardless of what happens their name's still aren't remembered for too long after whatever incident was caused.

Well written as usual :)

Oh, I get it... You're talking about politicians (all parties). This is why I enjoy poetry... Individual interpretation is an enjoyable thing. Clever word choices and rhymes with welcome brevity.
