Leviathan

Leviathan

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

.

"

Every living thing

As tentacles of experience

Evolving to explore

To evolve more and more. . .

From a single leviathan

Named after life

Refined by death

Across all forms of living

On a wave of expansion

Across oceans of time

Towards the cosmic horizon

We are everyone of us

Just a sentient part of this

Timeless leviathan

Question: Without a belief in reincarnation can life actually be said to be refined by death? Or does refinement only occur in the interval between birth and dying?
Ps. 2nd line.. 'As' or 'Has' ?
