Political correctness has created a super sensitive society (try saying that 3 times fast). On the same had we gave created bullies that are insensitive jerks that make fun of the weak and disabled.
So half the time people need to lighten up and the other half they need to grow up.

Your definetly not wrong about all those things. It is pathetic that we all have to talk about certain topics in a certain way. Maybe someday we won't have to deal with this problem, but who knows if that day will ever come.

for someone like myself who likes to give out as good as she gets, and just generally for being an Aussie, i like to joked poke - all in good humour of course - I find this whole stay in the box thing ever so boring

The reaction to all the social justice warrior nonsense got a retarded person elected president of my country. I think everything will normalize eventually. It's only an extremely vocal minority form both extremes that are acting like such little b*****s all the time... most people are still rational. I blame the news media... they'll say anything for attention.
