consumed whole by hatred, jealously, by self love
becoming the epitome of a false reality
consuming always constantly, but never growing a beat...
leaving reality unreal, merely pretended and s***s 
by turning away from our flaws and limitations

we lie to ourselves
doomed to repeat the same exact tribulations

because we lied to ourselves

doomed to die in some stupid a*s f*****g fantasy,

      oblivious 

because we're p*****s 
      full of egos

because we lie to ourselves

      terrified of the truth

      that we're all just human

not more

never less

Perfect ... I have been trying to articulate this exact thought and bugger me you just went and did it nicely

And no... if you are oblivious you will always be confined to the obvious and doomed to repeat the same things over and over and over...

I love me some wild animals... but I do not love the limitations inherent to that lifestyle. They can never grow consciously or individually... only in a blind species wide evolutionary sense based on eons worth of change. The greatest trait of the human animal is self awareness... we are literally pretty physically inferior when compared to most animals in the wild. And recognizing those limitations in conjunction with a pretty impressive set of problem solving skills has brought us to the very tippity top of the food chain.

I totally agree but have had conversations with people where this kind of conversation make no sense / therefore has no impact - they are not ready to or do not require to know it yet (due to self awareness levels I suppose) and when you live at this kind of level the bigger picture don't at all matter - happiness is still found at the end of every orgasm, with each lick of the ice-cream - sadness is still there when the dog dies anger is still there when things personal moral perceptions are formed ... its the detachment, the removing oneself for all the tings you have mention in your poem - in fact it is the next step after your poem - see feel do and understand all those things within you, don't hide from them, just know they are there and accept them without forming an opinion on them ... then, move on ... the next destination in self awareness promises to e even better

to know that we each of us have the whole universe within us - the good the bad and yes the ugly, means the world to me ... :D X

The only real absurd thing about me is that I will always live for the fight. It's a pathology almost... I really am bipolar with a touch of schizophrenia. And I would love it even more if that wasn't true.
