A message we could all life by. If you set your goals based what image that will give you then you will never be satisfied in the end. You need to have passion for anything you spend your time doing otherwise you will look back at the battles of your life and wonder if everything was worth it. Fail for a reason, don't succeed for nothing.

I also think you understood the poem quite well.

It would be nice if we could all be more true to our passions but in this life almost everything's a compromise. This poem is more idealistic fantasy than reality.

Perhaps I should strive to make every effort effective in the most definite way possible. Either way, I’m gunna fight against the superficial and artificial. That’s what’s natural for me.
