from a cognitive constriction rigidifying a world view born from a misery in situ immersed and raised in a family of it, aged up like that. . . matures hopelessness, a lack of confidence, a lack of trust; an expectation of general failure, discourse in the language of hatred. . . comfort in darkness, etc.. . . . kinda like a fella named Ed Kemper, maybe like a lady named Aileen. . . (ugh) in unforeseen ways, twisted brutal from darkness and manifested real; incarnate without rules - (in ways that no one can take back) so remember this. . . always be nicer to your children, or maybe, if you're an a*****e, just don't f*****g have any;
Aileen was failed by the society, is my impression. People may shout themselves hoarse, but the fact remains that they weren't in her shoes when some very s****y stuff was done to her in the formative years. She was quite happy to leave. People create monsters in their own kitchens & backyards sometimes and then run about screaming "murderer"

What she did was so far beyond the pale that their is no objectively rational excuse. She was a homicidal "monster", how she came to that point is something we must all come to grips with and hope to learn from. A little compassion in the beginning may have saved her life and all those she killed. But the day we don't vilify a serial killer is the day the justice system becomes irrelevant. Some things, you just can't do and remain a part of society.

Usually, I think, it is because they had to grow up too fast on account of not really having any sort of healthy parental guidance to begin with. Kinda like bringing a minor league prospect into the majors before they're ready; they might learn how to get by but only at the expense of their confidence and potential.
