Of warrior poets

Strapped

With figurative rifles

Artistic like

In faux battle dress

Ready for anything

But the real thing

Hush now. . . I was never not here

Be silent now

And not that latch key

Little b***h kid you really are

When the violence comes

The things you aren't ready for

Who the f**k do think will protect you?

With things you can’t really understand

Tactically

While you deliver pizzas

So I listened to one episode of Sam Harris and in the intro there was a little excerpt of his Ask Me Anything podcast - the question was about free will - he answer was about how we don't have any pretty much because we not self made - we were made - somehow created by a bigger thing - and because of this we will never ever have free will - it was an interesting theory on an age old argument - and your poem above reminds me of this - Little B***h Kid was made - but he will be given enough rope to truly feel unimpeded .... nice one X

I'm glad you gave Sam a listen. I might not agree with him sometimes but I think he's one of the better thinkers in the sphere of public discussion these days. Did I ever try and convince you to give the Canadian psychologist Jordan Peterson a listen? He's a bit different, Sam is every calm and seemingly detached while Jordan Peterson is very passionate but no less objective which, is a far more difficult thing to be in my opinion. (in my experience very passionate people tend to be less objective and more rigid in their belief system.)
