Parts Time Forgotten

Parts Time Forgotten

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

.

"

my flesh is the physical confession of my originators
the current result of countless obsessive struggles
across ocean's of time, species, chaos, and great peril
as the product of a trillion opportunistic steps
i came to be here
from what appears to be nothing
i will never know how

maybe
i can only know now
what seems to be obvious
consciousness is the metaphysical confession of our originators
and it will remain a god damn mystery to me

I absolutely stink at reading poems... I feel like I don't read them with the right rhythm, or miss the point. I however do appreciate poetry, even if the message is a "mystery to me." I think you did a great job however. I'm sorry that I cannot provide you with any helpful feedback.

i read this as a realization of self. knowing you're and understanding, even truly appreciating where you want to be, but yet still not understanding why.

Awesome poem,

To me, this speaks of curiosity of where existence began, a question that is so inspirational to ponder.

I noticed that you have no capital letters, and I really like that.. makes it feel like I'm 'reading' your mind, rather than reading text.

Thank you for sharing! :)

Capital letters are for jerks. I'm glad you liked it.
