The Parable of the Hideous Man (by Thomas Merton/Chuang Tzu)
When a hideous man becomes a father
And a son is born to him
In the middle of the night
He trembles and lights a lamp
And runs to look in anguish
On that child’s face
To see whom he resembles.
From Thomas Merton's "The Way of Chuang Tzu"

It's most likely irrelevant, but this reminded me of Clint Eastwood's '' Unforgiven''. This poem would make a great manga material. Btw, speaking of Westworld, i love that Ed Harris' character is called The man in black...so many interpretations can be attributed to him, and so many qualities...
You had me at “F*****g Ugly”.
Magnificent piece. Raw. Gritty. Honest.
P.s love the ProfilePic - I am also a huge Westworld fan, can’t wait for season 2!

Westworld is one of the better things to come to the screen in recent years. The way things ended with season one left me wanting more. It's a shame Anthony Hopkins won't be part of the main cast going forward though.

I know! Maybe a designer will make a “host” Copy of him in a later season.

so the man is checking to see if the family does or doesnt look like him? firstly, i thought it was funny as hell. secondly, i thought to myself if the man wants his kids to look like him then switch the they dont to dont they, outside of that i have to ask is this a parody of the parable in the description box? funny stuff
