Aristocratic Ants (trembling with tenderness)

Aristocratic Ants (trembling with tenderness)

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

. and violence... aloha snackbar! my dear... aloha snackbar .

"

the other day. . .

i asked a local ant

"do ya care if i crush ya?"

he said

"not so much"

i said

"why the f**k not?"

he said

"what's the difference... when you have numbers nothing matters."

i believed him

and it fundamentally frightened me

to hear of such flippant irrationality

Aloha Snackbar!!

some places still remain unvacationable sans a pistol

(and the US army)

i used to play there

and it was fun

irrational

and alive

like ants attacking targets

stealing people

"fundamentally"

one fellow told me

"the moment you accept death,

you overcome fear...

fundamentally"

then he shot himself

it was weird,

fundamentally

i wish i had better timing

you become addicted..

   to crazy s**t

after that

            and there is no cure

hahahhahahahahahaha

                oh wait...

           I knew that guy

and that wasn't supposed to happen

hmm...

how bizarre

     this place is odd

he'd think it's pretty funny

"...rat's feet over broken glass in our dry cellar"

Thomas Stearns Elliot (but just the last bit)

but not everybody gets to

we are scarred

and we never get to see it go away

(it always whispers)

back and forth

again, again

waking nightmares
