Rage, Kindness, Benevolence and Hatred ( be patient )

when i juxtapose my extreme rage,

           frustration and malice

with my kindness, understanding

            and "knowledge"

i find my center

             where i become normal

unbroken and a good man

             like the rest of us

circumstance dictates my extremes

             while temperance

makes us the better human being

              in spite of everything

so be patient

I do that to visually show the writer what I'm giving them. To many, it does come off as irrelevant, but not to me. It's not just a habit, but my way to show the writer what I think about their specific written piece on top of the written review instead of the writer seeing their overall rating on their profile only. A visualised rating for each individual written piece can also build a sliver more confidnce in their select piece. Saying "it's a great piece" can still get them 100/100 But another person who types the same thing, could instead give the person 85/100. Thats like doing a test at school and the teacher tells you that you did great, but sometimes the mark (rating) they get can mean something to them. Long stoy short... So thats why I do both.

Take no offence to any of this, and understand this is not a rant however much it may sound like one. I'm in a really good mood and trying to help you understand some things. You have to be a writer to appreciate the written word. I do not take my time explaining things; I take my time writing things as it means that much to me at how much the written word can change a person, or how it can change the world. Millions of people also take writing seriously. I write to get my thoughts out, I write to create stories, and I write because I enjoy doing so. The very definition of Art is the creative diversity of painting, music, literature, and dance. Art is meant to be on display and enjoyed by all. You would have to be a writer to the bone to grasp what writing means to people. A story can bring a smile to a child’s face, a research paper can change how a person views an idea, a simple written note saying, "I love you" can warm a persons heart, a nasty note can bring a person to attempt suicide. Words can bend people, make them feel good about themselves, to forgive, to hate, to rethink things in ways they never thought. You really underestimate the written word. Nevertheless, if that is what you believe, then that is what you believe and I do not judge you for that. But to say that you’re writing is just a stranger's internet ramblings and that it’s not art? Do not belittle your work. You clearly took time out of your day to write it, and if it is worth writing, then it is not just worth something to you, it is worth something to us as well. It gives us a look at the person who wrote it, and to a writer, to us, it means something. I, along with millions of people, are passionate about writing, and passionate about reading others written work.
To quote Plato, “Writing is the geometry of the soul”
How about Stephen King, “If you want to be a writer, you must do two things above all others: read a lot and write a lot
If you are going to quote Marcus Aurelius, be prepared to be gentle to all, cause if your not, they will bite back. And this isn’t even me biting back one bit. I just want you to understand that in today’s society, everyone states his or her opinions as facts, and it is indeed wrong but it is also perfectly natural to do so. The written word is a beautiful thing, and it should never be made out as meaningless.
However, here is where I bite back for you telling me that I care about the wrong things too much. Only A-holes will tell another person that they care about the wrong things as if you instantly know what they care about. Telling me that I care about the wrong things is telling me that It’s wrong to care about Equality, about preventing hate crime, about discrimination, injustice, and standing up against bullies and those who wish to abuse woman and children? By saying that I believe in the wrong things is the same as stating that you are all for the things that I am against. That’s so wrong dude.
Now, everything else you said is your own opinion and that is all fine and dandy Bro, I respect that, but do you want to apologize for saying that I care about the wrong things. It was not cool of you to say that.
By the way, writing all of this is child’s play for me. This is how passionate I am about writing poetry alone, not including how I feel about writing stories, papers, life lessons, and music lyrics for kids. I love what I do and it is meaningful to me whether it is meaningful or not to you.
