Youth is a Walled Garden

Youth is a Walled Garden

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

. it is bliss to be young, some can be so forever .

"

my past was once a walled garden

until my certainty went to pot

something once spontaneous, unafraid

is now overwhelemed, something complicated

my future is now a dense forest

until my last thoughts fall like dying leaves

to all be decomposed, dissolved

into a million dead little pieces

it will never look the same

I once heard it said that youth is wasted on the young. This is truly a profound piece, and will speak eloquently to all who read it!

George Bernard Shaw I think... "youth is wasted on the young".

Lmao, you even changed your about me... JUST FOR ME...? What are you even doing, bro, lmao... Then you changed it back... Yeah, good move... You like to do that, both with your thumbs up and comments... Deleting and ping-ponging between strategy after strategy... Dude, I even heard that in a rage, you started attacking people who comment on my work...? You are like some sort of personal "super-bot" that spreads my glory... Money can not buy people as devoted as you... Thank you, and like I said, I enjoy this... So... Take that as you will... I would rather much enjoy this never ending... It makes me feel like someone actually cares... You care, right? I mean... You will be sure to signify my affect on your level of caring by acting like a comic book villain, right? Women and children are the BEST for getting to the main-hero... Too bad I am more like an anti-hero, but...You know... Toodlez, Smoochems, till' next time...! (Quick question... Are you on other sites...? Cause I need a boost in popularity over in some other places as well...) Just get back to me whenever on that one, thanks, budz

Fantastic, since I last encountered you... You have done NOTHING but prove me right... Harassing woman after woman with asinine rage... Instead of being able to make any valid counter-arguments... You fell for the EXACT trick you proclaimed to use on Lyn and I.. Get baited, you sexist coward... Bet it feels real good to take that angst out on those who can not defend themselves... I rest my case... Figured someone like you would do the work for me... *Slow-claps*... But, like I said before, PLEASE, continue to troll me, troll others near me... PLEASE... It dedicates a level of energetic commitment I do not even get from my biggest fans... Keep proving you are my number one supporter, and remember... Having chosen me as your fixated god, my power will continue to increase as you menially cast stones before a great swell... L2P, you just lost, again, by your own hand... Predictable to the end... Toodlez, Darlin', and godspeed... I... I win. (Deleting my words now, eh? Have I really gotten to you THAT bad? The emails of support I receive about you... You might be my next step towards stardom)... I should probably thank you... I will not, cause you are nothing more but a stepping stone for those with real talent, but you know... I really should... I win, again and always, Darlin'... *Blows-kiss*

It will never look the same, but according to the movie ''The fountain'' - death is the road to awe...so who knows, may those dead little pieces be a foundation for something sublime. Loved this one, dear author, makes me want to take a walk in the forest...

I noticed the title of this one on the side of the page, and I felt like I had to read this. There is something in your writing that feels really familiar, like some shared ground of knowledge. I really liked this one. Thank you for sharing this.

We/life is always evolving. Changing direction at will. Sometimes it's scary, sometimes is hurtful, and sometimes it's for the better.

I really like the comparison to a forest and such. I'd never thought of life that way, but it's interesting. Nicely done.
