I have a friend - she's on day 20 of 90 AA classes in 30 days - this made me think of her - she's aldo addicted to painkillers and I believe addicted to recovering among addicts ... she's also addicted to the spin cycle of her life ... she just can't reach outside to hit pause, it's been going on so long I don't know if there's an exit point. She took herself to rehab to get off the opiates. She was in there for seven days with dirty ugly meth heads, this shocked a new sense of reality, but then she was told that because she had been drinking $3 wine they were not going to let her get off the opiates fully - WTF !!! But the shockwave resonated, a dirty disgusting place she said - so now's she's on day 20 and I am hoping the spin cycle is at least slowing down. She has more clarity in her voice when she speaks now. She's also bipolar and has had a pretty s**t life ... but day 20 baby ... and yes tomorrow is another day so f**k it lets make it day 21 ...
