Cat Piss and Whisky

the lovely smells

of a lonely ladd

among the other smells

of old,

accumulated things

like bound leather,

uniforms and fancy boots

on display

in a living room that wreaks

of cigarettes, of loneliness...

from a head of hair aged 60 years,

with nothing else 

here for nothing else

but loneliness, cigarettes, cat piss,

fancy boots and whisky stains

and whisky stains,

and no one cares

until it f*****g smells
