it's awful
and very beautiful
the hurt
and deep devotion
(who I come from)
she destroys me
(they destroy Me)
in old melody
in my kept memories
     and what they invoke
the very best of the very worst in me
        out of every inch of me
     (the blank spaces in between we do not share)
  with heart forgotten
the things you use for target practice
calmly enraged, this is me
more forgotten
   new but old
(i have seen you before)
so... "here's to the lady in the white shoes..."
I should have died a long time ago
