Upon my first read it reminded me of those awful religious shows that screen at stupid o'clock when you restlessly chanel surf out of boredom. Then I spotted your title description and see the Neitzche like musings reminiscent of 'the parable of the madman'

It's a good show. It's called "westworld", pretty sure it's on HBO. It's very dark and at times extremely disturbing so watch it with young children for sure.
