I like the personification of the dirt.
Usually, I'm not into personification cuz too many times it's chicks personifying the sky crying or some bullshit like that, but this works.

The personification gives the piece an eerie intimacy, like when death goes on stage with his sickle talking to the audience.

For some reason, this reminded me of the movie ''The crow'' with Brandon Lee. Probably because my NIN's favorite song is playing in the soundtrack. It's called ''Dead souls'' and it's actually a cover of Joy Divison.

I like the theme of this. Once dirt gets under the skin, you can't ever get rid of it.

Trent Reznor is one of my most favorite musicians of all time. Did you know he won an Oscar for "The Social Network" movie soundtrack? Almost won one for his work on "Seven" way back when. He's been making a lot of instrumental stuff lately, he's made more money doing video game soundtracks than anything else these days. He's also been responsible for grooming a wonderful poet named Saul Williams into a pretty good musical act.

"this magic moment". Trent's "a perfect drug" was only pretty decent, the whole of the soundtrack was a damn fine collection of music however.

and it had Bowie's "Deranged" looping the beginning and end of the soundtrack, which totally fit the movie! Top 5 soundtrack for sure!

Oh, and Ana, I heard the Pumpkins are touring again, at least that's what my friend in Chicago told me. So might be able to catch them

No, I haven't watched, sadly :( I've been a dreadful philistine when it comes to good films as of late. Keep saying,"I'm gonna watch this, or that" but end up marathon neflixing something goofy like futurama lol
