Withering In The Rain

Withering In The Rain

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

.

"

who will hide my face,

and feel the ages with me?

and finish the car crash no one can seem to avoid

with me

    it isn't pretended or accidental

it's much more than just the weather endured

    so here I am. and,

who will touch your face?

when all the age is taken...

and finish with you, withered, in a way none seem to avoid

unmistaken

dead alone

will you die alone?

(mistaken)

wept away,

more tears for the rain

(unfinished)

No one should die alone, but so many do.
Love that's true rarely lasts, no one grows old together anymore. Not happily. At least it seems that way. Storybook love... and this story is unfinished? Is that why you ended it this way? Because both are still alive and well? Good poem.

Beautiful I loved it. Hey that's how all of us feel of course it's cause we are human and human is scared of being alone. We will say we are fine but...... it still doesn't work that way our hearts were made for us to love just like God love's us. Thanks it was really a wonderful poem and what a coincidence it's raining here too LOL :)

Your mom's a soap opera
I like your comparisons - life, love...all just an unavoidable car crash. Almost seems pointless looking for the "who" that will endure them with you. You did a nice job of conveying the hopelessness of the search.
