Habitual

lifting weights in the morning

drinking coffee

smoking grass

to mitigate the fact

that my hands are shaking'

    from the caffeine

from the adrenaline flush coming from exercise

now overtly trembling i'm like a tea cup poodle

on crack

and i'm likely to smoke more grass

then in comes the thought of eating breakfast

with a cup of tea and some weeds

over

eggs and bacon

and hash

that's me routinely in the morning

contemplating my first heart attack

and i will smoke cigarettes and drink whisky tonight

my exercises under moonlight

help me contemplate things

like my first heart attack

and how good my body will look on an operating table
