Beautiful. Although I don't consider it 'hell' as much as a safe haven from all the atrocities of real life. Provided that a balance is well kept of course.

Most adults already have a safe space... it's called their home and their personal social circle. Grown ups who demand their individual feelings be legislated into public institutions aren't really grown up in my opinion and they miss the point of what it means to be inclusive. I'm speaking about the nonsense going on at universities across America these days... not battered women or genuinely oppressed people. What "atrocities" are college students subjected to en masse that they need school sponsored areas with coloring books, counseling sessions, time off normal classwork, and the exclusion of dissenting opinions? Because the presidential election didn't go their way? That's madness... and coddling them with that exclusion BS is not helping them in the long run. How can they change those "atrocities" you speak of if they are constantly running away from them?

Everything we see is a trick. How we see it is selective interpretation to our personal situation... i.e. the best view for the hunting that keeps us alive (in modern times, what keeps us happy)... determined over literally millions of years of evolution. We are here to eat, f**k, and reproduce. I think we complicate the rest out of boredom because as a species we got really good at the other three things (eat, f**k, make babies). I enjoy your shiny hair because it attracts me... you make your hair shiny because on a basic level you know it attracts me (not me specifically of course). I thought I had a point but now I'm just thinking of shiny hair, boners, tits, and vagina's... I think I've been duped by my hormones again. Anyway, I know how to pour a fine whisky into a glencairn glass and ask for a soda water with lemon on the side. And you really are delightful...
