Dirty White Laces

Dirty White Laces

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

.

"

careful now, with your pretty dress

in our dirty halls;

of ours.

they might dirty the lovely mess

of white lace.

and the deliciousness

that is in you;

in fine strappings

delightful,

haughty,

such a dapper dame.

be careful now, ms hot mess.

dirtying my halls

with faux confidence...

making a home in me

with that lovely mass

of white faith,

cleaned

but not forgotten....

what should this mean?

i still see you,

can you see me too?

 frightened

these things do matter

carefully unforgotten
