I'm all about emotion these days, I know it's not everyone's cup of tea and that's cool...don't read it, it's that simple. What baffled me is that it appears that they must have read a number of my poems...because of they made a number of references...lol. Anyway that's enough of my rant.

I know exactly who that is, he's done it before and he seems to be doing it again. You just got trolled by wordman's fake profile campaign. If you review me positively and aren't an old school established writer here he will target you. He's been doing that to me again these past couple days... it goes back a very long way. I thought he gave up and moved on but, eh... guess not. If you look at my rating for this poem and a few other recents ones you will notice they are abnormally low. I deleted his bullshit review by I cant change his low review score. That pile of stolen valor dogshit seems to think that matters... eh, ignore that s**t. Some people are pure vanity.... keep doing what you're doing.

It's sad you have no idea who that "man" really is and what he does behind the scenes here and elsewhere-- to include real life, I've had to change my friggin phone number because of him. But ultimately, I can't care too much what you believe. I don't know you and you don't know me. Have a nice day.
ok ... well it's a heck of a fantasy let me assure you ... ah tomorrow will be great, it's fast approching and I have no idea on how I'm a gonna get to where I need to be, but heck, you are right this fantasy is worth every last whimper and shiver ...
what is it they say? be careful what you wish for, ahh well I shall not be careful, tomorrow's fantasy can materialise before me, such is the power I posses, and then maybe, tomorrow I will move on, but probably I will be too caught up enjoy the conjured present
*mental note ... allow time tomorrow to conjure the next
clever words ... I particularly like 'until some present fades to black' ... made me stop and ponder

Ahh - there is nothing like "what could be".
Hope is what drives us. Actually, I think it is probably one of our survival instincts. We would die without the hope of tomorrow.
Nice poem.

Spiritually speaking, some would say it's why we have to believe in a reward/punishment kind of afterlife. Honestly I think their both full of s**t... but then I think of my neighbor and idiotic and short sided she is and I wonder how dangerous the masses can be with no consideration for tomorrow.

Ok - here is my suggestion for this poem.
New title - "Scorched Earth"
Now that I know where you were going with this - it is way, way better.
Great job... now that I get it.
Regarding your neighbor:
"Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers." -George Carlin

Not a bad title suggestion. I may have to take that one.
This is a great piece that reminds us the reader to forget
the past and be thankful for the present and future:)
Great message!
Thanks for sharing and b-blessed!
