I Love Chevaux

I Love Chevaux

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

Something T.S. Eliot wrote

Stolen through the ages

by him and others

from mystics

no one

ever knows the author's

essence

it is mankind

not one author

Thomas Merton later found

This

deeply misunderstood

he wrote the way of Chuang Tzu

in the essesnce of the begging

to see the beginning

of an ending

something I can talk about for days

over tea, over coffee

sometimes it's nice

sometimes it isn't

oftentimes it doesn't make sense

Something T.S. Eliot wrote

"in my end is my beginning"

Something stolen

Something used

more beginning

I capitalize at my own discretion

sans meaning sans purpose

my teeth are white rocks
