catastrophe

among something palpably

raw, biting...

the dark violence

survived

blended ecstasy

that time...

that time when survival beat the s**t out of ethics

f*****g hilarious

pretentious

it just doesn't get old for me

here now

I've become something

the butt of ambition

her killing joke

now it's very funny

a laugh riot

survival among guilt 

or something

against ethics

i'll do anything

(I must retire)

i'd like to have defined the seaons by the plants i saw

the taste of the day's breath

the reason's that brought me here

(shut the f**k up)

i'm trying to listen to you

when i'm talking to me

the sea surrounds me

heaven is survival

and bliss

as a castaway

long lived

is one fine sunset

When it comes to survival all written laws no longer apply.
Check this line: i'd like to define the seaons by the plants i see
Also, capitalize or don't. Pick one. It looks sloppy.
I like it though. Good poem.

I wrote this with Amelia Earhart in mind. But I was watching old Tom Brady highlights in the background... it sounds retarded but I blame that for this poem being slightly confused about itself.

I never said it was confusing. To you it may be but not to me. Like being a guest at a dinner party and not knowing the fruit flan went flat so we had apple pie instead. I thought we were having apple pie along. Your poem was a nice serving of words.

The technical stuff was noted, I'm about to fix it, dial it a back a little bit pit bull. I was talking about the tone overall, Earhart's one of my favorites and this poem has an uneven tone that takes away from my intended respect for her and her navigator Fred Noonan.
