Untwist

Untwist

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

.

"

the dehydration will thin your skin

like cheap wall paper

adhering pathetically

to your luxurious surface

it'll look foreign

and it will hurt

extremely

depravation is transition

like being born

with language

the depravation twists your mind

in the desert of the real

the day to day type survival

(you'll forget why you do things)

for a luxurious purpose

is what's forgotten

but endured

it's like dying

but remembering

(it's a cancer)

stark repetition inbreeds madness

the totality of hope

murdered

a horizon forgotten

in the day to day

of extreme preservation

desperate for luxury

settling for hydration

(who really knows what they're doing?)

here, or there

or elsewhere

some things cannot untwist

they just is...

a suite full  of pigs

pretending luxury
