Merciful Things

Merciful Things

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

.

"

Of all the merciful things

Sleep, her brother death

Offers of rest, of respite

So one rebuilds

Of the other, the negative

So it goes

One does begin again

The other just an end

Of a need for merciful things
