Instinct for Health. Right?

Instinct for Health. Right?

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

"Instinct and Health" By Woods Hutchinson

"

There is this entire market of Instinct and Health

(So called)

Telling me how dangerous it is to be alive

"It isn't so very dangerous to be alive"

That's what Woods Hutchinson said

Instinct and Health, By Woods, Mr Hutchinson

It's a f****n book

 (from 1909)

_much later_

In world war 2 the US Army used cards as minor propaganda

Dealing death with symbols and numbers plus divisions of experimental proportions

Of exponential destructions and deaths

"it isn't so very dangerous to be alive"

Said not often among those with the instincts for killing

Unjustified destructions

Great thoughts with dumb reasons

I smell nationalism with a fervency

On TV

Sometimes more contemporary fare takes it's place

These days on the television

Like a war on drugs or someting like AIDS

Maybe that was the '80's

Some invisible crime rates by multiple health costs

In the '90's

Bias runs amok without temperance

Without shame

You cannot defeat ubiquitous perception

You must wait it out

  the specific violence between creatures

Augmented with anecdotes

And high definition cameras

Run by a******s

Paid for by you and I

Through the interwebs?

This sounds like a fantasy novel

Or a discourse on the everywhereness

Of germs and terrorists

And the human machine

So adapadtable

And stupid in the short run

Self defeating in the long term

I will wait

For the fantasy version

To pass

Such a great response to what's happening today- "I will wait for the fantasy version to pass" (if it ever does, eh?) intense and carrying depth in its sometimes obscure phrases, this poem pulls back from all the propaganda of fear, no matter what form it takes over decades, to a neutral stance. Though I do sense some frustration with the waiting game, waiting for something of truth to emerge, eventually. It is hard to be patient, to not have our ire raised at the continual lies we are fed. We can strip away all the propaganda and still there are more layers. I will wait with you, but I can't guarantee that the barrage of fear won't get me up in arms at times. Great write about our current events as told to us by others with hidden agendas. Thank you!

So just a question about the purpose of this is that is it a informative type of writing piece or is it something else? Other than that it's a very interesting piece of writing that friend as its format is different from what I usually read.
