Mosquito MurderA Poem by Davidgeo.it's so easy when it seems not to matter. One way or another most of us end up slaughtered Dead mucous spread over speeding chrome X imprints Y with, whatever Dead violence forgotten Breeding more Those who use chrome to slaughter Those who file away (death) Dead violence Like it never mattered Driven hard and furious Through dirty windshields Full of smeared death They say it's just mosquitos On the empire's windows I never parked feeling well about it -- Just clean it and don't think about it There will be more There is always more to be cleaned There will always be more To be forgotten Willfully To be cleaned It's easier to repeat those ways When it's only bugs on my windshields Instead of flesh upon my bullets (this is not clean) This must matter We cannot be slaughter We cannot be death Man will die As the earth cleans her windshield Of our remnants Cleaned.... we will be forgotten Like we never mattered How degrading To die like we never mattered Forgotten, never again to be remembered © 2016 DavidgeoAuthor's NoteFeatured Review
