Paranoiac

Paranoiac

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

Megalomaniac. Megalomania.... “this belief is a frank acknowledgement of a relic of the old megalomania of infancy” s freud

"

stupid can be very, very stupid when primed and facilitated.

retrospective idiots can be very, very insightful among other examples;

delusion-instigated fools perform the very, very finest acts of tomfoolery.

for example, distortion-type mountain from mole hill makers

and their becoming's.  it's a jolly good show dear boy....

from some kind's of chaos comes a process more distorted than usual.

out from that sometimes comes a megalomaniac,

full up on the manic defense

mechanism of the day.

dream like...

latent, machinations of this nature

from childish, paranoiac disorders

(are they coming for you?)

[they, and you = delusion, and conceit]

if a then probably b...

(most likely)

ms. evaluations pervades all human perception;

how we understand the world

from within ourselves. it's true --

we are only a shadow of a more complicated thing.

and we do not all endure the same relationship

with ms. evaluate;

it's quite the contrary dear girl.

in the stupidest groups of people, resides great concentrates

of intelligence;

of all the crazy people inside all the kingdoms,

the one's that actively, consistently fail

to see how stupid it all really is -- the one's that last.

like gatekeepers...

the true genius's, with the high intelligence.

the movers, the shakers;

the reason makers.

if x then why?

it's how we misevaluate the world,

how we choose to answer that equation,

that defines us.  Build a great kingdom or dwell in some hell....

there is no difference; there is only what we are and how we take it.

how we Build it - what becomes of it;

through those stupid lenses we wear,

the a*****e mirrors that we make,

the human mind's perceptions of what its shadow's have done;

on our lovely stage of

make become, or something...

(retrospective idiots for the win!)

like that. Anywhere.

Is this about a relationship where one person misjudges the other because of their own misdeeds, either in a romantic relationship or any other relationships? I'm not sure if this is the whole point but I definitely feel it's threaded throughout.

I really like this one!

Great lines in this poem. Really enjoyed it

This is very interesting as it is very conflicted and that's what makes it really cool. Additionally I think that this poem is really fascinating just to dissect the pieces of it would take forever. But I will point out that my favorite part is the part where the poem ask if x then why? Just thought that was the coolest part because it is he'll be people try to figure things out like if something is this then why is it this?

I love the paradoxes in this poem and how it calls into question the way we assign and see value, intelligence, etc.

My favorite line has to be: "Build a great kingdom or dwell in some hell"

Never name yourself failure, that s**t just may come true.
You have the gift of eloquence. An envied capability. "if x then why?" is an awesome line. I like how it wraps back around to math. Goes well with the concept of intelligence/stupidity.
