Weighed Behind Doors

Weighed Behind Doors

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

.behind backs.

"

between the skilled and unskilled

lies natural barriers.

formally, barriers to entry. (natural monopoly)

relying upon scale of economy

typed rewards,

defining "superiority of compensation".

without competition

naturally

 fitting

cost's of production,

into things

like differences of wages,

defining them

making them unreflective

in regard to the actual

labor pool

and the consequences of competition.

so what really is worth?

is it,

part of an obscure act

indeed. also a misleading act?

weighed behind doors...

breeding mistrust

sufficient to unequalize,

create advantage, naturally, in proportion

to what I believe goes on behind back doors.

to what you believe is going on behind backs

and what you have to lose.

you weigh this, you measure it

weighed and measured

some arbitrarily wasted

some kept

some stolen

what's left... what you take home

is your life

and there's not much left

so try not to f**k it up too badly
