One Way, Or The Other.

One Way, Or The Other.

A Poem by Davidgeo

It's somewhere between filthy hippy density

And iso-deliverance-style ruthless hillbilly-"ness"

Outside of reality but still defining

Reality and s**t like it

Reality and the dream

Ever been somewhere in between?

Or somewhere like it...

I never had that desire come in between my dreams

That stain is on me sheets

Dreamt stains manifest reality

So I've heard, so I say

So some people, you people... "my" people

My filthy dogs.... my dirty minds

It takes class to write like the gutter

Because real class convenes in the gutter

With my brothers from stupid mothers

My sisters from wasted fathers

We will all find each other

Half way there

To the other

I read this a few times. I get something different out of it each time. From reveling in dirty imperfection to finding balance between what you want and what you need. I could be way off. But it makes you think and that's good poetry.
